London has always been a vibrant and cospmopolitan city filled with a mixture of the old villages, swept up in the tidal wave of nineteenth century development, and the bright new swathes of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops.  

 

All over our wonderful capital city you'll find plaques commemorating the famous and infamous people who lived here, as well as the historic landmarks known to tourists the world over.

 

Many of these locations and plaques have been marked by ipointr and grouped together to form exciting and informative walks. I'm a Londoner and I hope you enjoy them as much as I've enjoyed putting them together.
