Michael Strachan

These walks were designed and written to share my love of the greatest city in the world. For many years I've wandered around taking photos and bagging the amazing variety of plaques commemorating the famous people who lived here. Now I've put them together in a new kind of interactive guide for smart devices.

I've grouped them into the five areas shown opposite as collections, and I'm working on expanding them to cover all the wonderful and historic parts of London.

Each walk comes as a pdf download that can be printed out together with its own PastWalkers score sheet. There's also a unique QR code link to access the 'smartphone' version.

Scanning this code brings the images, texts and links to your phone or other smart device for ease and convenience when out walking.

London is a great place but please take care when out and about and have a great trip.
